  • Last week Culler families received progress reports for first semester through the mail. Today you are receiving Update Envelopes for the first three weeks of second semester. Your child should be bringing home an update of his/her status in all of his/her classes, an attendance report and other information, including this newsletter. Culler Middle School faculty puts forth extra effort to make sure students and their families are kept informed of student progress. Your continued support of the Update Envelope procedure is appreciated. Please take time to look over your child‚Äôs Update Envelope contents, sign the front of the envelope and send the Update Envelope back to school with your child. This is the third school year that information about student progress is forwarded to parents every three weeks. It is important to know that a school community must have strong involvement from all members in order to provide the best opportunities for our children to experience success.
  • The Update Envelope procedure is just one of many ways parents have to be involved in Culler Middle School. Culler‚Äôs group of active parents, now known as the Culler PRIDE, worked with the Culler faculty to develop a Parent Action Plan. The Culler PRIDE would like to invite you to join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, February 19th at 5:30 p.m. in Culler‚Äôs media center, immediately following conferences. This meeting will give families opportunities to review the Parent Action Plan and also listen to a guest speaker from the Lincoln Police Department regarding internet chat sites, such as MySpace, and how these sites affect our children‚Äôs lives.
