Culler Middle School is a professional learning community with a tradition of service, a culture of collaboration, and a commitment to student learning.

Parents/Guardians of Culler Zoom-In Learners,

Remote Learning STARTS TOMORROW (Monday)!!!   Students are expected to “attend” their classes via Zoom at the regularly scheduled class time.  Here’s a LINK to our bell schedule for reference.

NOTE – Monday, August 17th will be an X day.

**Please note that the 100% Remote Learning Schedule that was sent in your remote learning packet is NOT the schedule that we are currently following.  This was sent in case there is ever a time that everyone needs to go 100% remote.

Here are important instructions and information for students & parents/guardians:

  1. Being a Zoom-In learner simply means that you will need to get up and go to class on the computer at the same time your classmates are going into the classroom at Culler. You need to be in the Zoom class on time and prepared to work every day just as if you were in school.
  2. Below are instructional sheets and a video to help you and your student access their classes via Zoom:
  1. Technical Difficulties: If your student is having any technical difficulties, please contact the LPS Help Desk at 402-436-1735.
  2. If you missed Material Pick-up on August 11th, please stop into the office from 8-4 and we will get what your student needs!!
  3. Students will be using Google Classrooms frequently for getting assignments and turning them into your teachers. If students haven’t used Google Classroom before, teachers will help!!
  4. Students should check their emails several times each day. Lots of communication will come through their LPS email account. This is also how they will contact their teacher for extra help. Here’s directions for students on how to check emails.
  5. Teachers will take attendance, and will expect students to have their video showing all the time.. Students should be out of bed and dressed for Zoom learning.  If your student is ill or unable to attend class via Zoom, a parent/guardian needs to contact the school office at 402-436-1210 or approve an absence via ParentVUE.
  6. All assignments count, and we will use letter grades (A-F) for most courses. It’s important that students do their work!!
  7. Teachers will be going over more important information as we go along.   We are all new at doing this, so please be patient and communicate how your student’s experience is going as we learn this new way of engaging in school.  We know everything will not go perfectly at first, but together we will all get the hang of it.
  8. The following classes are not being offered via zoom.  If you have these in your schedule, know that you will not have a class during that period.  We will not be able to replace or add classes.  Classes not offered for Remote Learning are:
    • All Skilled & Technical Science Courses
    • Publishing
    • Drama
    • Design Thinking
  9. For additional questions, please contact the grade level administrator or counselor:

Excited to “see” your student tomorrow!!
